The Twitter based Tweet Live Wallpaper displays Twitter tweets based on an adjustable search criteria or a timeline (friend, public or user). Besides the system font, five custom fonts are available for the coolest look of tweets. You can double tap on the tweet to open it and see more details about the tweet. Via the menu option you can follow, mark as favorite, display the timeline, reply or retweet the tweeter. If the tweeter has a profile url set up, you can click on the profile icon to open it as well.
Via the settings, you can select your own favorite Twitter client. Your Twitter client appears as an menu option within the tweet details menu and opens on selection.
This Live Wallpaper makes use of the Twitter OAuth authorization. You will be asked to grant the Tweet Live Wallpaper to use your credentials to follow, mark a favorite, reply or retweet. You can use this Live Wallpaper without a Twitter account but functionality is limited. You can not follow, mark as favorite, reply or retweet.
By default or in case no tweets can be found for the provided keyword(s), the Twitter account of CMWMobile.com is used to display tweets.
It will just take a couple seconds before the first tweet appears (depending on network speed). With the refresh interface, you set the time the tweet is displayed on screen. The number of tweets retrieved (max. 15) multiplied with the refresh interval gives the time between updates of the tweets.
